Hatton Insurance Agency, Inc.

We opened our doors in 1931 and have been serving central Florida for over 78 years. The company was owned by R. C. Hatton. In 1931, the name was changed to Hatton Insurance Agency, Inc. Upon Hatton’s retirement in 1970, Wallace Orr purchased the insurance agency and was accompanied by his son Bill Orr in 1976. In 1994, Bill Orr became the president of the company as well as the resident agent.

In 2006, Hatton Insurance Agency acquired the Paul Speight Insurance Agency, Inc.  The Hatton and Speight Insurance agencies have enjoyed a collaborative, professional relationship and shared the same client-based philosophy, so this partnership was a natural evolution. Both agencies saw a need to grow while continuing to provide the same quality, personal service to our clients.

The present organization has a staff of five, with an average of twenty three years of experience in serving the insurance needs of our client’s throughout Central Florida.
